Our Dundas, Our Stories

May 27 & 28, 2017

The history of Dundas Street is the history of London.

As Dundas begins its next evolution with the Dundas Place project we're looking back at the people, the buildings and the stories of this most important artery. This spring the Urban League of London is working to bring together libraries, heritage advocates, heritage organizations, museums, and people who love London to collaborate, research, tell and share our stories of Dundas
(for this project we're focussing on Dundas between the Thames River and Waterloo Street).

We'll tell our stories using Wikipedia, video, social media, podcasts, photography, blogs and more. Everyone can play a role in this day, from the most knowledgable history buff to people who have been drawn to our history through the amazing work of Vintage London and everyone between and beyond.

We Need YouR Help To Tell These Stories

How can you help? We're looking for people who are interested in reading, research, maps, photographs and more. We need folks who can shoot video on their phones, record interviews, write stories, edit video, Photoshop images, photograph architecture and more. If you're interested please include any of your interests or skills in the form below.

You can help us right now by sharing this page far and wide. We're looking for history buffs, wannabe history buffs and London lovers of all walks and you can help us find those folks.

We're still working on the details so please sign up below to receive alerts or follow the Urban League
on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
